Cold Creek Wellness Center Drug Treatment Admissions

Our job is to help you through the admission process and then provide you with the best addiction treatment in the industry.  From the time you choose Cold Creek Wellness Center, you are assisted through the admissions process. Here's how it works:

The admission process consists of six steps.

1. Safety: Our foremost concern is ensuring you or your loved ones safety.  All of our decisions and treatment recommendations are motivated by our concern for your safety and wellness.

2. Assessment: When you first call we will conduct an assessment to determine which level of care is appropriate to your situation.

To make this determination we will ask the following information:

• Basic demographic information
• Details about the issues that prompted the call
• Previous Treatment History
• Gather insurance information & check for treatment coverage
• Assess and coordinate how to pay for treatment
• Assess the need for a hospitalized detox

3. Facility Tour: Touring our facility is the best way to feel confident about giving Cold Creek Wellness Center the opportunity to manage your treatment.  This way you can meet the staff and experience the positive atmosphere prevalent at our facility.  One of the best ways to alleviate the anxiety associated with starting a drug treatment program is take a tour.

4. Coordination: From the time a potential client calls our helpline, we begin working.  Our job is to take all of the information gathered during the assessment and work to get the client into treatment.  This involves a lot of detailed coordination.  For some clients this may involve scheduling and conducting and intervention; booking flights; reserving and arranging for a hospitalized detoxification; communicating detailed treatment information to family members; working with lenders or ecclesiastical leaders.

We are here to help.  Our staff has the experience to make getting into treatment as easy as possible.

5. Admission: Clients who have completed detox, or who are coming in from out of town are picked up by a staff member who will accompany them to Cold Creek Wellness Center to begin completing the intake paperwork.  All consent forms and release information along with financial paperwork is discussed and any questions are answered.

Each client meets with our medical doctor for a medical assessment.  Following this the client is assisted through the "check-in" process by an intake counselor. Any questions about program policy's are reviewed.  The staff is also here to help with family medical leave paperwork and can communicate with a client's personal doctor, job supervisor, attorney, or probation officer when necessary.

In most cases, this is all handled in the first 24 hours of a client's arrival.

6. Insurance Benefit Review: Many new clients arrive with concerns about health insurance benefits.  They may be unsure about what their insurance will cover. At Cold Creek Wellness Center we want our clients to be free to focus on their treatment.  Our medical billing manager will coordinate with you throughout treatment and answer any questions regarding your coverage.
